Collection
We have a wide variety of Best-sellers, large print books, books on tape
and CD, magazines, videos, and DVD's. We have a collection of rare and
unique books as well, such as the Emily Loring and Grace Livingston
Hill series.
We also have current subscriptions to local newspapers, including
Roane County News,
The Harriman Record, and the
Knoxville News-Sentinel
as well as back issues on microfilm.

Circulation: Books may be checked out for 2 weeks.
When checked out on Monday - Wednesday, videos and DVD's are due the next day by 5:00 pm.
When checked out on Thursday, they are due the following Monday by 5:00 pm.
Library Cards: Available for no charge. Must show proof of
current mailing address and provide one reference.
* Children under 14 must have a parent signature.
* Must be 16 or older to check out videos and DVD's.
Overdue Fines: Books - $0.10 per day     
$1.00 per day for all other materials
Internet Access
Public computers with Internet access are located on the first floor of the library and in the children's room.

Inter-Library Loans
Can't find the book you need? You may request up to three items at a time
through our Inter-Library loan service. There will be a charge for
postage.
Call, email, or stop by the library to place your request.
Genealogy
We have Roane county and state census records, cemetery books for Roane
and Morgan counties, and records from Schubert Funeral home and Maxwell
Funeral Parlor.
Used Book Store
Great Books, Greater Bargains! Located downstairs, through the door on right.
Open during library hours. Sponsored by the Friends of the Harriman
Public Library. All proceeds benefit the library and its programs.
Donations are welcome and appreciated for new and slightly used books.

Adult Reading Club

Join us in choosing monthly book selections and for group discussion. Open
to all adults. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:30
in the library. |

Home delivery of materials is available for local patrons who are unable to
