On Thursday evening, April 7, 2011, the library will sponsor an event with Dr. Bill Bass, famous forensic anthropologist, author, and founder of the University of Tennessee "Body Farm". The talk/book signing of his latest novel, The Bone Yard, will be at the Harriman High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. You can pre-order the book at the library and pick up your signed copy the night of the event. There will be a cut off date for pre-orders of April 4th. Please order early to benefit the Harriman Public Library. Light refreshments will be served at this free event. Dr. Bass will offer first-hand accounts of unusual and fascinating forensic cases seen over the years at the farm. Many of these cases are the inspiration for his novels, along with the people and places he has met in this area.
